Hello my name is Carola Kayen-Mouthaan. I am 49 years old, I live in the Netherlands,

I am a photographer for 10 years and since 2 years I am specialized Fine Art Photographer. My new passion in photography.

I like to do things differently than the standard ideas, like for example, I prefer working with real not standard animals in my studio like a skunk, turtle, pig or snails.

In the hour off my speech I would like to tell you the following:

How I came to this point, and what I have achieved so far with my work. And I would like to take you on a journey in the world of my fantasy and ideas in Fine Art photography with my picture.

How I work and prepare for a shoot.

JACK SAVAGE WORKSHOP PART I

 

Jack Savage b/(1980) is a fine art photographer and digital artist from England. He was educated at The University of Nottingham where he obtained
an MA in American Studies and Film. Recipient of the converted Pangea Prize from Siena Photo Awards 2017, Jack has won numerous international photographic honours worldwide, and is the owner of a large photographic studio in Northampton, England.
Jack is also an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop CC and trainer, and his
workshop at the conference will be concentrated on fine art editing techniques and digital manipulations in Adobe Photoshop CC.
Greetings  friends and photography lovers. For this workshop I will concentrate on the fine art editing techniques that are associated with my work. The first section of the day will concentrate on Portraiture.
1. The basics of Portrait Editing.  An introduction to my initial processes to editing in Portraiture.
2. Portraits from the masters. I will take attendants through the editing techniques used for my award winning series. The application of additional  canvas and grunge layers to portraits via one of Photoshop’s 29 blending modes is explained in depth.
3. Portrait manipulations. Here I expand on my use of blending modes to concentrate on the more advanced side of portrait manipulations, such as the digital creation of light and shadows, the duplication of faces, reflections, multiple exposures etc.

After the break I will introduce the process to my editing in black and white, selecting certain fine art images from my series ‘NOIRISMS’, and teaching the editing processes involved, which includes the advanced use of Gradients, Layer Masks, Selection Tools, Masking, Displacement Maps and blending modes.
I will then move on to the more crazier side to digital manipulations and provide attendees with some advanced techniques to add to portraits, landscapes, and other work within the fine art canon.

PATRIZIA BURRA  WORKSHOP PART I

The main objective of the course is to learn to use the basic and the advanced tools of Adobe Photoshop, Cinema 4D and Daz Studio acquiring the operating logic, through a formula that favors practical training without neglecting the theoretical explanation.

Through this seminar you will have learned in depth the main and advanced techniques for image editing, the Photoshop, Daz and C4D course provides clear lessons and practical examples to explore in detail the functionality of the programs in order to learn the use with a logical overview and creative.

Do not limit yourself to creating an enchanting portrait with a story. During this high-level portrait photography you will learn all that is necessary to achieve good knowledge and organization.

Themes like: inspirations, which styles with the appearance of the model. Makeup and hairstyle. We will organize an internship with the model as a preparation for the photoshop course held by Patrizia Burra.

Take your camera and possibly your computer with you.

The course is aimed at everyone who starts the photography adventure, but also for people who already have some experience.

The program starts with fundamental issues, ranging from handling the function of the devices, such as white balance, composition, lighting etc.

Then the more serious challenges, such as portrait photography, outdoor photography, lots of sun, low light and photography with natural light inside and outside. You will also learn how to work with a model and take pictures without the use of auto mode and image processing with Photoshop.

The main advantage of this course is that in 80 percent, basic exercises and instructions emphasize the artistic values ​​and aesthetics of photography. The workshop is given during the day on a date that suits us both best.

You can choose whether you want to bring your own model or we go out with my model. The model can be a child but also a pregnant woman. You can use my clothing, attributes and accessories. Mention the dates on the registration form and we will discuss which date it will be.
